Martha Tapia \u2013 <\/span>Martha and I have known each other since our first day of classes at university, back in January 1996. Our friendship has been one of love, respect, support and many fun times. Although many miles have separated us for many years, we just haven\u2019t been able to shake each other. She has always been, and will always be my dearest friend!<\/p>\n

Bertha Makita \u2013 <\/span>Ever since I can remember, my big sister Bertha has been baking me lovely treats \u2013 my favourite: Flan Napolitano! She is also signing our marriage certificate as my witness!<\/p>\n

Nicky Burns \u2013 <\/span>I met Nicky during the second year of my PhD studies at Glasgow University. Ever since she\u2019s been the most generous colleague and a very caring friend.<\/span><\/p>\n

Magly Aguirre \u2013 <\/span>Magly is one of Bertha\u2019s best friends and a dearest family friend. To this date, she still remembers when she met me as a funny little rascal.<\/span><\/p>\n

Sylvia Gonzalez  <\/span>– <\/span>Sylvia and I met during our first year of high school. She had just arrived to Los Mochis (my hometown) and we clicked almost immediately. We don\u2019t see each other often but when we get together it\u2019s like we saw each other the day before.<\/span><\/p>\n
